Raising quality standards lies at the heart of our business strategy. We believe it will help separate us from ‘the pack’, building differentiation for our business and attracting more demanding clients. Tier 1 suppliers and international OEMs work with us because this attitude is writ large across our organisation.
Our commitment to quality runs through our veins but is also evidenced through our ISO 9001:2008 accreditation.
But we’re not stopping there. Continuous improvement is also in our DNA, so we’re constantly evolving & developing our QMS. As we acquire or merge with other operations, we look for opportunities to improve how we do things, by adopting what we consider to be better practice, if we see it.
We are also committed through partnerships with our customers and suppliers. Where customers specify a procedure or suppliers show us something new, we build this into our system as well, as we plan/do/check/act our way to continuous improvement.
In 2016, we put both of our operations (Cannock and Worcester) through training, development and, finally, submitted them to thorough audits by BSI of our environmental management system and our health and safety management and practices. Both Cannock and Worcester were successful in the audits, resulting in accreditation for both facilities to ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
